I’ve always wanted to see the trails around Brisbane. Having coached many athletes who use them for training it makes me very curious about them! It’s always great to run new events and support the local domestic scene in Australia.

Over 10 years now. I’ve been around so long I can remember when trail running wasn’t even seen as a sport, and when ultra running was only something that strange people did by meeting in strange places and running crazy long distances.

Been way too many. My sub 16h, 8th place at Western States in 2014 was pretty special though!

Just revert back to some familiar processes – resetting a bit; mostly by slowing it down, refuelling, hydrating and some positive self talk.

Goals are always value based – so although it sounds a bit boring, they are always around embracing the challenges of the new terrain, meeting and making new friendships, giving my best effort on the day and being grateful for the feeling of freedom that the sport gives.

Not sure about that one, someone that is good as serving up a bit of tough love, Gordon Ramsey would be good at that, and could probably serve up a couple of nice treats to boot.
