BLING-ALING

We’ll hold our event presentations from 10am on Sunday 23rd July 2023, in our Finish Precinct. Whether you’ve stuck it out with us all night, or you pop back to cheer the final finishers home, we’d love to see you all there!

Prizes that will be presented on Sunday are as follows:

Podium Prizes

100km Champions

First place male and female in our headline 100km event, The Guzzler Ultra, will each receive a cheque for $1000 along with sponsor prizes.

50km Champions

First place male and female in The Glass Half Full, 50km event, will each receive a cheque for $500 along with sponsor prizes.

Podium Finishers

First place male and female winners of each event will have their name engraved on the event’s perpetual trophy for eternal fame and glory*, plus receive free entry into the same event for next year to defend their title.

All podium finishers will receive a custom engraved The Guzzler podium place glass water bottle, along with sponsor prizes.

Finisher Awards

Finishers Medal

To celebrate your achievement, everyone who finishes within the time cut-off will be awarded a commemorative medal. This is optional and you may choose not to take one if that’s not your thing.

The Guzzler Ultra, 100km

All 100km finishers will receive a huge 100km finisher’s medal. We award three different colour medals to finishers – Gold, Silver, or Bronze – which are determined by your finishing time:

  • Gold for sub-15 hours
  • Silver for sub-20 hours
  • Bronze for finishing within the time cut-off

These medals come with extreme bragging rights and are a weighty reminder of your accomplishment.

The Glass Half Full, 50km

All finishers will receive a large, bronze 50km finisher’s medal in recognition of completing this challenging ultra-marathon.

Measuring a whopping 90mm wide, this is a beast of a medal worthy of pride of place in your medal collection.

The Big Sipper, 21km

The Big Sipper, 21km Medal

The Big Sipper, 21km trail race has an all-new medal for 2022. This 7cm wide medal features Brisbane’s historic Enoggera Reservoir – where the 21km event starts.

This beautiful medal is a reminder of the challenging trails that make finishing this half-marathon an achievement like no other.

The Dry Run, 10km

The Dry Run, 10km Medal

Whether you’re dipping your toes into trail racing for the first time, or are looking for shorter, faster challenge, all finishers will receive a medal to celebrate the achievement.

This 6cm wide medal pays homage to Mt Coot-tha’s forest, which we hope will remind you of the beautiful and challenging trails on Brisbane’s doorstep.

Pick up a commemorative bottle or cup for your event from The Trail Co. tent, in the event precinct for $15.

Hell Hole Hustle

The Race within the race

All 100km and 50km runners will get an opportunity to Time Trial themselves through the Hell Hole Hustle for a chance to win a voucher to use at The Trail Co., awarded to the fastest recorded Male and Female.

The section of the course starts at the timing mat as runners exit the checkpoint at McAfee’s Lookout, and ends at the junction of Hell Hole and South Boundary Rd.

  • Distance: 3.3km
  • Descent: 243m
  • Ascent: 176m

In order to qualify for winning the Hell Hole Hustle, runners must complete their entered event. There isn’t a prize if you show-up-and-blow-up!
