Run this sneaky little loop in the suggested direction to get a crash course in both the very start and the very end of The Guzzler.

Your run starts by heading up Mahongany which is a great way to make sure your legs are warm! You’ll head over the hill and down the back of Mt Coot-tha and our towards Gap Creek before turning around and joining up the course route at what will be the ‘home stretch’ for runners on race day. There’s just one ‘little’ hurdle that stands in your way – Kokoda!

Once you’ve successfully climbed Kokoda, you’re rewarded with beautiful winding singletrack and a nice descent where you can picture all your friends and family waiting to celebrate, or scrape you off the floor – depending how hard you went…
